Inhalational anaesthetic

Inhalational anaesthetics are gasses that possess anesthetic qualities that are administered by breathing through an anesthesia mask. The agents of significant contemporary interest include the volatile anaesthetics (halothane, isoflurane, sevoflurane and desflurane) and the gases ethylene, nitrous oxide and xenon.
